Honesty is a concern?
I can't appreciate the views of Mahfuzul Haque, a Dhaka university student. He has written the letter "We are not honest", (DS, August 6) which is totally a one-sided interpretation of things. His thinking is too far away from the reality. It is our fault that we observe a memorable day once a year and after it passes we forget about it. But he can't blame all the boys and girls for attending the celebrations.
He said that boys go there on the special days (Pahela Baishak, Independence Day, Victory day, Bashonto Baron) to see the girls only. That's not true, Mr Mahfuzul Haque.
