Hope for the best
In Bangladesh political parties do not function as per the expectations of people. Actually, these mainstream political parties are practising hypocrisy in the name of democracy, as they preach democracy to us but they do not practise it at all within their parties. Politics is no longer a place for those who deeply feel for Bangladesh. Instead, politics is a form of profitable business. As today's politicians are very much concerned about this business, they increase their allowances at regular intervals and this is the one and only issue where the MPs of all political parties show their remarkable unity.

That said, when I see the programmes like Mati-O-Manush on Channel I, I feel that still there is hope and our beloved Bangladesh is functioning for some exceptionally courageous people, who defy all odds coming their way.
