Of inappropriate clemency and divided lawyers
Mohiuddin Jhintu got lucky. His party is in power and with the right connection (as cynics say) at the right place, he got away with killing two people. Our honourable President most probably had no idea whatsoever what he was signing and thus granting clemency to a notorious criminal
Now the government supported lawyers, the pundits and custodians of law are supporting it, while the group belonging to the opposition is against it more for a political reason than anything else.
What can we expect from the judiciary where lawyers are so busy with politics and judges are allegedly forging certificates (Opps! Contempt, contempt.)
