An inspiring 'Bachelor'

In reply to Mr. Istiaque Uddin Rifat's letter 'A disappointing Bachelor' published on February 16, I want to say something.

Mr. Rifat's letter contained a cry for morality. He wrote, "The movie depicted the dark side of love." I am not too sure of what he said. Even then, is there any problem in depicting dark side of love? Who on earth told him that films should only portray the bright side of love or life? Mr. Rifat's letter gave me a suggestion that we never look for another girl even after when a relation is over! We never get confused! We never fall down to abyss! What the film depicted is all known to us.

The day we were watching Bachelor in the theatre, our friends were pointing to each other it's you, it's him, it's me! It seemed so natural to us. At the end, Mr. Rifat cried over what our young people would learn from this movie. I believe they would learn to love strongly.

Lastly, my friends and me want to thank the makers of 'Bachelor' for making a truly international standard film.
