Investors fleeing the market

According to reports, many investors are fleeing the market. I think the following steps should be taken to reverse the process. 

1. Enhancing investors' literacy in stock and MF investing. 

2. Being dividend oriented and not panicking about price fall of good stocks. 

3. Not buying shares of a company which you do not know well.  

 4. Setting a time horizon of at least 10 years in stock and Mutual Fund (MF) investments. 

5. Realising capital gains when it becomes available and buying back the preferred share when the price falls.
