Iran disaster
An earth quake shattered Bam, the historic Silk City of Iran a few days back. We all are shell-shocked at this gruesome disaster. Many nations across the world rushed to the aid of the victims. The US, a diplomatic foe of Iran, has come to help Iran . There has been a diplomatic dichotomy between the US and Iran since 1980. Last year, President Bush placed Iran on the "axis of evil" and Iran was under US pressure in many ways. But the earthquake in Bam has brought the US close to Iran.
They may set up diplomatic camaraderie by availing this opportunity as a crutch.
