In the letter "Tony Blair's comments", Mr. Tawfique Zunayeed from Gulshan-2, Dhaka, wrote that the whole Muslim Ummah had bad relations with Israel. I am not sure what his definition of Muslim Ummah is, but a few of the OIC members are in good terms with Israel. Recently, Pakistan started a diplomatic dialogue with the Israeli government.
The way the writer has commented on Jews is derogatory and not at all helpful to bringing peace in the Middle East. One must be able to see the ground reality.
Leaders like the Iranian President bring no benefit for the Muslim population. How can we forget that his country violated all international diplomatic norms and kept 54 US diplomats imprisoned for 444 days? What good that brought to Islam?
