Is it democracy?
We are now passing through a critical juncture. The democracy that we have is just a mockery. When a party is elected by the people and given the power to govern the country, it becomes autocratic. The parties think that there should not be any opposition to criticise their activities.
The parties cannot brook dissidence as is evident from the recent incidents in which the leaders of the alternative forum came under attack .
