Kalpana abduction
The ninth anniversary of Kalpana abduction was observed on June 12. Kalpana Chakma was the organising Secretary of Hill Women's Federation (HWF) .
The caretaker government was in power at that time. Though it seemed neutral but it failed to take any steps to give exemplary punishment to the culprits. After the caretaker government, the Awami League and the four party alliance government led by the BNP also failed to do anything in this respect.
The government should publish a report on the issue and make it public.
