A little criticism

I am a Bangladeshi student currently attending college in the US. A true nationalist at heart, I follow Bangladesh's national news everyday. Sitting here literally on the other side of the world, I feel very fortunate to have access to my nation's news and media via the internet. And being the son of one of your former news editors, I strongly believe The Daily Star is a reliable and accurate source of news in Bangladesh. I like your commitment

to providing good quality news to your readers. However, recently I have been noticing several errors on the Online version of your newspaper. Most of the errors are typographical and careless. There are spelling errors, typos and text editing mistakes on the daily issues. I must clarify that I am not at all referring to the content or the validity of the news reported. I am simply disappointed to find such careless mistakes on your daily web issues. I had proudly referred your newspaper's URL to many of my American friends who are very interested in my country's national news, especially cultural and social news. At first sight, many of my friends were amazed by the quality of the English newspaper from a third world country such as Bangladesh.

I truly intend to maintain the good rapport that has been established and I hope you will ensure good representation of news through your paper.
