Mahathir's legacy
Hats off to Dr. Mahathir, who ruled Malaysia for 22 long years as the prime minister. But for his bold and courageous leadership, Malaysia would not be what it is today.
When it has become a normal practice among the Muslim leaders to remain in power by any means and rule their countries by unleashing brutal forces, Dr. Mahathir set a golden example by voluntarily relinquishing power.
It will be better for the Muslim world in general and for Bangladesh in particular if our leaders follow this noble example.
