Make it transparent
The government of Bangladesh should make the process of dealing with foreign firms transparent. Every proposal they make and every condition they press should be made public and placed before the parliament for detailed scrutiny.
TATA has repeatedly said that their investments should accrue profit. They have not for once said how their investments will benefit Bangladesh and what they will do with their surplus products. This is an example of how the investors are approaching us.
