Militancy in Islam
Though Islam does not approve militancy as far as my knowledge goes, it has been very acute all over the world including Bangladesh in recent years. Some religious people wrongly think that it is their duty to establish Islamic rule in this country by hook or crook. They don't understand that our Prophet (SM) wanted to preach Islam through peaceful way. But this sect has opted for militancy as a means to that end. They are operating destructive activities throughout the country. The recent bomb blasts in 63 districts is a clear indication of their widespread network. After the blasts, the law enforcing agencies have nabbed many militants but the ringleaders are yet to be caught. This hunt should not be over until the masterminds are nabbed and sentenced to exemplary punishment.
