Minister for district
The government has appointed a minister for every district with a view to co-ordinating works of the district and to seeing the real picture of the roads, schools, colleges and other important things in the district. Accordingly, he/she issues DO letters to the ministry concerned to do the work, but it is very sad that those DO letters are being rejected in most of the cases. Consequently, development work as well as other works are being hampered and ministers' commitments are not being honoured.
The government should look into the matter.
