Miseries of victims behind the push-in and push-back drama
The news of push-in and push-back between BSF and BDR across the border have been publishing in almost every dailies for the last few years. According to reports, the Bangla speaking Muslims in India, who are the worst sufferers, are forcibly pushed in to the Bangladesh border by BSF. And BDR push them back with the help of local people.
Heavy exchange of fire and blank fire etc. dominate the border areas and trigger intense situations. The fire and counter fire, the chase and counter chase make the innocent people stranded in the no man's land. Both the governments are responsible for not taking into account the miseries of the victims. I think it is an inhuman action and an out and out violation of humanity. No matter how much hardship they have to go through, I am shocked that the concerned authorities of the next door neighbours never turn their attentions to the matter.
In the above circumstances, the human rights organizations should take proper steps so that such incidents never take place in the future.
