More rain can be a blessing

Waterlogging due to heavy rainfall has become common all over the country. But these problems can be reduced by implementation of extensive rainwater harvesting policy by the government, private sector and individuals. Argentina, Brazil and China have been harvesting rooftop rainwater to use it for drinking, household chores, livestock and to replenish groundwater levels. We can have reservoirs to preserve water this way. It can save our electricity. This policy will be helpful in avoiding groundwater depletion and be a blessing for a sustainable future.
