ÂMuktijudher Golpo Shono"(Listen to the story of Liberation War) is really a timely initiative taken by the Muktijuddha Utsav: Bangladesh. Although it is late enough to start it after 33 years of the Liberation War, yet it is a commendable move to project the real history of our freedom fighters to the adolescent and the children. We can't deny the tragedy of our nation that the course of its history changes with the change of government. The history books of the primary schools are randomly manipulated by different governments. Each of them tried to abuse the history of Bangladesh for its own heinous political sake. Therefore, very often we find much contradictory information which easily confuses our new generation. Only for this kind of filthy political game the sacrifice, bravery and sufferings of our valiant martyrs remain out of focus. The new generation is also losing their interest in our Liberation War since its history is changing with times and they are in a great dilemma to deduce the right one. It is impossible to grow up as a patriot without knowing the actual history of a country. But unfortunately our great politicians left no stone unturned to make the history of our country hazy as well as ambiguous.As a nation, it is one of our greatest failures.
