National Image?

According to Mr. Mahmudur Rahman, the litigant , it was done to uphold the 'National Image' (desher bhabmurti). Now, could someone tell Mr. Rahman that National Image cannot be upheld by pressing unfounded charges against such prominent citizens of the country whose presence by itself is one of the very few yardsticks of our positive national image. If the prominent citizens, some of whom served as advisors to the caretaker governments of our beloved country in the past, went to jail, what kind of image Bangladesh would have to the outside world?
