We came to know that the PSC is going to amend the curriculum of the BCS examinations. It is good news for us who have a huge crush on civil bureaucracy. The previous curriculum of the BCS was really discriminatory and archaic. The PSC, a constitutional body of the country, is in charge of recruiting top class civil servants through BCS examinations. It is very much competitive. But sluggish recruitment procedures, rampant corruption and outdated exam systems discourage the bright university graduates to opt for BCS. For this reason our country lacks efficient, dynamic and result oriented civil servants. But if the new exam system is materialised from the 27th BCS, there will be change in our civil bureaucracy. All the applicants will have to prove their worth.

So we can hope that the scenario will be totally different. I implore the PSC to underline the importance of English efficiency of the candidates in the examinations.
