A new way of protest touched me where Afghan war veterans threw their artificial limbs during demonstration outside the main government building in central Kiev on 31 May 2005. Several thousand people who survived the Soviet-Afghan conflict demanded that the government improve their system of social welfare. This photo reminds me of the present condition of our freedom fighters. Most of them are living in extreme poverty, their family members do not get any facility from the government. In contrast, we see that the sons of our powerful leaders get all types of facilities from everywhere.It's a heavenly country for those who can acquire everything with power of muscle and money. Even our young generation nowadays doesn't have any idea about our valiant freedom fighters who presented us an independent nation. Shouldn't we think about and work for their welfare?
