A peaceful programme
After seeing their posters all over Dhaka, I decided to go to Baitul Mukarram and watch their activity as an outsider. I was simply amazed. I have never seen a demonstration like this. At first there was nobody. Then suddenly when a leader chanted loudly about 200 people gathered at the spot within seconds and organised themselves in 3 to 4 human layers to protect their leaders.
Also when they were stopped by the police they took no violent actions. They simply sat down gave a speech and ended the programme. There was no violence. It was organised by a small group which works for Islam in a peaceful way.
