Playing with fire?

The government should look around and take lessons from civil war affected countries. Mr. Kibria's murder can take Bangladesh to a very explosive situation, unless the "real" culprits are caught and punished. If some criminal groups are being patronised to eliminate only opposition politicians, I would say that the Bangladesh government is taking the country to an un-chartered area with severe consequences. Grenade attacks against opposition leaders and progressive forces have not been taken seriously and, therefore, nothing has been done except discrediting opposition for staging those grenade attacks themselves. It makes me wonder how low the government can go and the price it is prepared to pay?

If the government can handle this, my humble suggestion would be: get immediate help from the international community! It is high time to swallow the pride!
