PM's visit and school kids
Once again it has been proved that it is Bangladesh. People here talk about progress, but it's all about pronouncing some meaningless words. Our prime minister visited Kishoreganj a few days ago. According to the daily newspapers the local administration ordered all school authorities to suspend their regular examinations just as the prime minister was visiting the upazillas. Kids were standing all day long in the streets to welcome the PM, instead of sitting for the examinations at that time.
May I ask a solitary question to our respected leaders, did you ever think about this? Why these kids had to stand all day long on such a hot sunny day? Is it their responsibility to welcome you by wasting their time and by hurting themselves? Why their normal school activities were suspended? Don't you think it's an inhuman act to take off one day from these innocent kids?
I am quite astonished that this thing is unnoticed by our intelligent people. Maybe they are tired of talking about these things!
