Political cancer

Surely the politicians (all over the world) are not angles! Why this intentional cheating? Even honourable lapses are not condonable in public life, as the long-term negative effects could retard the right type of development. Diplomats lie low for the state; but political deceptions fly high!

Look at the way the academic environment, specially at the university level, has been polluted politically. Now even some of the teachers openly indulge in politics, and in various dubious ways of undesirable extra-curricular activities. Who will regulate the regulators?

The virus is easy to name: vote-bank! The lust for power, and misuse of it--time and again! There is no permanency in politics. What the students, at the final stage of higher education, are learning and unlearning? The effect on character at the late formative stage of youth is permanently damaging and the politicians should not be held, even indirectly, responsible for this umbrella effect on character formation!
