For some of us politics in Bangladesh is a schizophrenic affair. Once in my dreamy state, I was appointed finance minister. The first initiative I took was to make a formal visit to my predecessor and compliment him on his policies and promise to follow through, and also to inform him that I would appreciate any advice he wished to divulge for the sake of our country. But are the politicians dreaming of doing anything like that?
