Preserving life on this planet

There is no denying the fact that both government and NGOs are least concerned when it comes to environmental and ecological problems in the world.

There is no denying the fact that both government and NGOs are least concerned when it comes to environmental and ecological problems in the world. Over the past few decades for example, marine habitats and oceans have been confronting ongoing threats of pollution and overfishing.

According to figures compiled by the World Economic Forum, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean, if we continue down the path we are currently pursuing. Plastic pollution is a very serious danger that scientists are anticipating because it degrades slowly, polluting waterways for a long time.

On the other hand, global warming is a hot topic in the world and it is because of ocean acidification, known as 'the other global warming problem.' If the acidity of oceans increases, it will have devastating impacts on marine life. Those who live right along the coastlines will have the most direct impact on oceans. But even if you live far inland, there are many things you can do that will help marine life.

So in order to ensure the health and safety of our communities and future generations, it's imperative that we take responsibility and look after the oceans and its marine habitats as they care for us. And it is high time that we should encourage others to preserve and protect our marine life as the future of our planet is in our hands and it really needs our help!
