Price spiral
The price of essential commodities is increasing by leaps and bounds. The condition at present is now intolerable. It is said that there're three classes of people -- the rich, the middle and the poor. But it's the middle class who suffer the most. They find it difficult to practice illegal ways of earning (bribe, smuggling, illegal business), they've no sufficient assets. Unscrupulous businessmen stock up essential commodities with an ill motive and as a result there's a breakdown in the supply. Smuggling and black-marketing are also important factors that cause price spiral. The prices of vegetables and fish, meat etc. have risen to an unbearable level. Efforts should be made and necessary actions and proper measurers should be taken to tackle the situation. The government must act more forcefully to tackle the price spiral.
