Pronounce the names correctly

The name of Ghana is usually pronounced as "Ghaana" not "Gaana" as it should be, which creates a jarring sensation on our auditory senses, particularly when World Cup football is on. The same error occurs in the electronic and print media (Bangla version).

Years ago, a telecaster repeatedly pronounced "Mexico" as "Maxico" during the time of the great Mexico earthquake.

I think it would be worthwhile to have a committee in each TV media station or centrally, comprising competent persons to brief the newsreaders.
