PRSP and the minister
I agree with the observations of our minister, when he says, "The PRSP has been formulated in keeping with the interest of the donors, not suiting people's needs". The way these world bodies dictate terms and formulate strategies for third world countries is just another form of domination. I was unfortunate enough to do an internship with the World Bank in Dhaka many years back. It made me realise the attitude of this organisation. These organisations are nothing but the extended arms of donor/western/first world countries to keep third world countries more and more under their control by destroying (or trying to destroy) their economies.
Liberalise your economies, they say. Open it up for foreign investment.
Fine!! But when it is their turn to give up their assets to a foreign country, look how they behave.
