The Dhaka City Corporation and WASA are working to improve the waterlogging in Dhaka, but their efforts seem to be useless. This is because of the city dwellers who are making the situation worse. People continue to use polythene bags and plastic products that clog the drains and manholes. We know that these products are not disposable and must be recycled in a proper way.

Efforts from both the public and the government are necessary to resolve these issues. We need to raise awareness about the problems of stagnant water and pollution. Otherwise this beloved city will become uninhabitable.
