Real taste of Test cricket
My heart was tickling when I saw that England were 123 for 5 & there were plenty of overs left. At that moment Australia had a chance to settle the scores & retain the Ashes. Shane Warne was showing his mettle. Then came Kevin Pietersen.
The stage was ready for him. He demolished the Aussie bowlers & took the Urn from Australia. Giles supported him with a stubborn mood. I think one day Pietersen will hold the record of hitting the highest number of sixes in Test cricket.
England has got the Urn after long 16 years & for that feat they had to show their extreme prowess. They have earned it by dint of hard work. Both the teams fought fire with fire. So we have witnessed five dazzling Test matches.
