Recruiting rule is a must

The scenario of educational institutions from primary to university level is so miserable that it would be right to call them the institutions of distributing certificates and employing under-quality candidates. As an observer, I have seen, almost in all schools and colleges, the teachers without adequate qualifications have been employed in an improper way.

Teachers in any country should be ranked at the top of the scale and only the scholars should be made teachers. But in our country, political influence and money power is more important to be recruited as teachers.

Unless this trend is eradicated, no other gains will be fruitful and effective. The Deputy Minister of education, Ehsanul Haq Milon, deserves some credit for his effort to put a stop in cheating at examination halls. But it would bring little success unless a massive revamp is done in all the sectors of the education sector including recruitment of teachers.
