Recruitment of nurses
I am highly pleased to notice the recruitment procedure of nurses as reported in your June 18 issue. Though very much delayed, it is an essential measure to increase the number of nurses in our health sector. From my long bitter experience, I would like to pursue the responsible authority or authorities to provide them better nursing education. They should be turned into a highly humane, responsible, knowledgeable Human Resource.
And if the budget can afford, they should visit neighbouring countries to learn more about nursing. I would recommend the Christian Medical College Hospital, a non-profit globally recognised Hospital in Tamil Nadu, Vellore, India!
