Removal of judge
This is in reference to removal of High Court Additional Judge Shahidur Rahman from office. I would like to congratulate the government for taking such a bold step. He was charged with taking bribe to fix bail for an accused.
We, the people of Bangladesh, are frustrated with all-pervasive corruption. Now, we observe that even the judges are not above controversy. So, the government has taken appropriate action. It will act as a warning to all corrupt elements in the judiciary.
