Renovate BCS
Public Service Commission, an authorised body of the Ministry of Establishment, is going to conduct the 25th BCS exams. The jobs under BCS cadres are lucrative in Bangladesh. For this almost all the university graduates have a huge crush on the BCS. If we anatomise the recruitment procedure of the BCS, we find many shortcomings in it. For better output from our civil service, the BCS should be modernised. As English is a lingua franca, it must be emphasised in the examination process. And optional subjects should be cancelled to minimise discrimination among the students of different schools.
All kinds of quota system should be cancelled. Finally , the PSC must stop question leakage to maintain the reliability of the exams.
