Right to live
Terri Schiavo, a brain damaged woman of Florida who has been in a persistent vegetative state for the past 15 years, lay for a week without food and water. That is terrible news for the modern world. We know that lawmakers make law for the welfare of people, not to use it to push anybody towards death. We must use laws for the betterment of mankind.
I congratulate Florida state senate ad President Bush for taking the initiative to save the life of that hapless woman.
