Role of police
In a growing democratic country like Bangladesh, police should help the development process of democracy. Therefore they have to work independently and impartially. In the context of Bangladesh, the situation is just opposite. Here police department has been used for political interest. It has been totally dominated by the ruling party.
Our police department is engaged in destructive activities, rather than doing anything constructive. So we should reform this department as early as possible.
