Sharia laws
This refers to the article titled " Fundamentalism, Extremism and Islam" by Mr. Md. Anwarul Kabir, published in The Daily Star of the 7th instant. Mr. Kabir in his article has advocated modernising the Sharia laws. As the major sources of such laws are the Holy Quran, Hadith and Sunnah, we should treat them as the divine rules and so there is no scope for amending them.
In fact these laws are the guidelines for the Muslims to live in this temporal world.
