Shocking news
We are flabbergasted at the news item published in most of the newspapers in Bangladesh-- 'Arrest warrants against 5 eminent citizens'.
It all reminds me of the hegemony theory by Antonio Gramsci. The modern states don't always want to impose direct control (force) over the people during their rule and/or misrule as they are inclined to imposing intellectual control over people.
I do believe that politicians couldn't have become so corrupt, if some people didn't support them so explicitly.
