Stop unnecessary honking

Most drivers plying the roads of Bangladesh seem to be aggressive and impatient, and that's why they continuously honk the horn of their cars. Moreover, drivers possess inappropriate knowledge about when to use the horn. The use of hydraulic horns makes the matter worse.

Honking of horns causes sound pollution, and can even affect our health. Cities across the world have laws regarding unnecessary honking. However, there are no such laws in Bangladesh. It is high time our government introduced laws against unnecessary honking to stop this menace. Media and social networking sites can also play a powerful role in this regard to raise social awareness.
