We are the residents of Mirpur-1. Our earnest request to the state that the inhabitants of Mirpur-1 had been suffering from an acute scarcity of clean drinking water. During the rainy season, most of the drains are filled with dirty water. As a result of drinking such contaminated water, water borne diseases like diarrhoea, dysentery, typhoid break out every year. We, therefore, plea to the authorities to be kind enough and make steps to supply clean drinking water.
