Tajmahal, the most sublime monument of imperial love and a majestic edifice, is entering its 350 years of existence. Being one of the Seven Wonders, it still conjures up the vision of Emperor Shajahan who decided to make his wife's memory immortal. He is no more, but people from every corner of this planet come to watch this monument of love.

Its shimmering while marbles are still reflected in its shadow. The Indian government has chalked out an elaborate six-day programme to celebrate the 350th anniversary of its birth. It is indeed an occasion to reflect about this great monument.
