I am saddened by the blind eye that the Bangladeshi people have when it comes to terrorism, specifically 9/11 and more recently, the bombings in London. People still blame the US/British policy, but that is not the real issue. The issue is that the Muslim world has not dealt with extremism when it first appeared and has let it fester within the community and now look what it has done - good, decent, law abiding Muslims are having to prove they are not a threat in the communities they live in.Bangladeshis, and Muslims in general, don't integrate into society easily. They constantly mix with their own people and rarely associate with the people where they live. This creates a misunderstanding. Children are especially confused because they are torn between two cultures. This has led to a lot of disillusioned youth, as can be seen in England.
