Thy name is frailty!

I am yet to understand the pattern of behaviour of women. The same woman behaves differently at the same time in different roles. I mean she behaves totally differently as a mother, step-mother, sister, wife, daughter, mother-in-law, employer, daughter-in-law etc.

We are accustomed to expressing our sympathy for the oppressed women because of wide publicity from women's organisations, but very few people seem to know about the oppressive steps often taken by women.

Everyday we get reports in the newspapers about love triangle, cruelty to housemaids, inhuman treatment to step children, indecent behaviour with husbands and parents-in-law etc. Furthermore, if a man is reputed to be bad, he will be bad throughout but a woman changes her behaviour with respect to time and her position.

What is the chemistry involved that triggers such changes in our womenfolk?
