Kudos to the editor for this commentary. What else can I say, except that you have succinctly summarised random thoughts of many of us. You have asked the quintessential question to Sk. Hasina. Do I think statesmanship and intelligent political leadership will emanate or ensue from either KZ or SH? Of course not!

For the last 15-20 years of inept leadership under the two major parties, there is more than enough precedence established to expect anything otherwise.

It was a compelling and timely piece of writing. Thank you. We, who live abroad, and who are always worried about the country- both its political and economic situation- can understand the agonies of our countrymen which are only increasing. The image of the country to any foreign individual- be investor or tourist- is now even worse than any African primitive's. Those who might have not known much about the latest happenings can have a vivid outlook from the current issue of TIME. Amid all these frustrations and anarchy, what have our leaders done so far?

They have given us only frustrations over the last decades. Do they know what a true leader is supposed to do for a nation?
