Vegetables dearer
I read the write up on vegetable price in your paper and to my expericences Bangladeshi people are lazy and dependent on the farmers in the villages and expect to get the produce cheap prices. In China 70 percent of the vegetables are grown in the backyard and balcony of their apartments or houses. Hey Bangladeshi, you need one or two plants of chilli to satisfy your whole family and you can grow it on your backyard or in front of your kitchen. When I was a kid, I saw my grandma did, although our village in Jessore is famous for growing green chillies for century. If you want to eat, work a little bit, not look at the sky to rain those things free.
