Where do we stand?
In this glorious month, December, 1971, an independent state named "Bangladesh" emerged on the world map as a result of the supreme sacrifices made by the freedom fighters.
With the emergence of Bangladesh, a nation which had been suppressed for centuries finally got an identity . But after 33 years, most unfortunately, the diluted dream is evaporating. We have distorted history regarding the proclamation of our liberation war. We are embroiled in a fierce argument as to whether we are Bengalee or Bangladeshi. When will this come to an end?
