Why anti-terrorism war in Iraq?

Why the anti-terrorism war in Iraq or anticipated one in Iran or Syria or DPRK? Why does not Bush concentrate this so-called war right in his back-yard, if there is any terrorism.

As far as Bush's foreign policy is concerned, it appears to be total failure as he failed to endear much foreign support in a true sense.

And as many believe he will not continue to receive forces from his so-called supporters for the dirty war, the result of which will bestow the responsibility on US people but unfortunately that resource also will dwindle gradually as US people, who are generally simple and peace-loving, won't welcome many more body bags from Iraq, or for that matter from anywhere. As Md. Mamun Rashid elaborated rightly (Nov 26) "anti-terrorism war will definitely turn into another form of terrorism." But his statement ran short of telling in the face of Bush that US hostilities and anti-terrorism war has already turned into terrorism. He though rightly said terrorism by the US in Iraq in fact has been institutionalised and can be termed as state-sponsored terrorism.

The US was naturally expected to bring back its armed forces from Iraq after it handed over the administration to Iraqis. But it is still foot dragging and killing innocent people. Sad for the Iraqis that it is their own people hankering after power, never mind at the cost of killing of their own brethren by the foreign forces, who have become sycophants and bootlickers without little thinking that the US power mongers are not there for their democracy but actually after their wealth of oil. My appeal to the simple-hearted US people who are sensible and patriotic is that they should ask Bush to bring back their sons and daughters in good spirit and not in body bags, telling him not to use violence, and to become a self-styled world leader. He should try to make more friends around the globe, irrespective of religious beliefs or political bias and renew the old goodwill of the US. And my appeal to the Iraqi leaders is to love their homeland and respect the people's wishes (who love their homeland at the cost of anything). Otherwise I would conclude that they are no better than Saddam Hossain.
