Why not a mega serial on 1971?
The nature of entertainment in the electronic media is changing in accordance with its commercial needs . Sometimes the contents of a single drama are being stretched to un-ending episodes. It seems there is an acute shortage of good stories or shortage of talents in this field, which are affecting the quality of television dramas. It could be the impact of Indian drama serials where characters with heavily made up faces, wearing all sorts of jewelleries and heavy dresses, perform as poor village women or housewives. I strongly believe our history, society, and culture have enough potential to be a good source for great serials which can be commercially viable as well. A mega-serial on our Liberation War will be a valuable addition.
