BNP patrons of communal forces: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today blamed BNP of patronising the rise of fundamentalist evil forces in the country.

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, was talking to reporters after placing wreath at the National Martyrs’ Memorial on the occasion of the 46th Independence Day of Bangladesh.

“BNP patronised the fundamentalist evil forces in the country. These evil forces could not have surfaced if BNP did not back them up,” Quader said.

“The main goal of these evil forces is to destabilise the country,” he said.

The minister also informed that 41 percent of the construction work of Padma Bridge has been completed and security has been beefed up at the construction site.
